What a year it's been! 2021 has been a challenging, but exciting year. As we head into the new year, we're celebrating a few of our recent highlights...
Christmas is just around the corner, and it’s not long until we’ll be spending time with loved ones and enjoying a well-deserved festive break.
We're ending the year on a high after recently launching in Harrods H Beauty new store in Edinburgh, Scotland. It's a beautiful new 21,000 sq ft haven of beauty and skincare, feauturing iconic worldwide brands amongst up and coming local names (like us!). Being featured in the new H Beauty store is a wonderful opportunity for us to share our Hebridean skincare secrets with even more customers, and in a truly prestigious location. It’s the icing on the cake at the end of a busy year for us; one that’s seen ishga recognised for our work in natural, organic, vegan-friendly skincare.
Here are just a few of the recent awards that we’ve been recognised for by our peers:
Highly Commended: Cruelty Free Body Care & Cruelty Free Hair Care – ishga
We couldn’t do it without you…
ishga has grown from humble beginnings, mixing ingredients at our founders’ kitchen table, with honest feedback from family and friends. Now, through passion and hard work we’re thrilled to send our (still locally produced) products to happy customers all across the world. Of course, we’re extremely proud to receive industry accolades, but what means most are the fantastic reviews we now receive from you.
At our heart, we’re still a small business, and what we do is certainly still done with our original intentions. We strive to harness the age-defying benefits of Hebridean seaweed and combine them with the best ingredients and latest innovations in natural organic skincare. We’ll keep working hard.
At ishga, we use four types of seaweed in our organic skincare; Fucus Serratus, Fucus Vesculosis, Pelvetia Canaliculata, and Ascophyllum Nodosum. The two types that go into the majority of our products are Fucus Serratus and Fucus Vesculosis, both of which hold powerful benefits for our skin.
We may think of beauty and skincare as a fairly modern development that has only happened in the last 100 years or so. However, if you go far enough back, you can see that caring for our skin has been around for a long time.
